Eric embraces the philosophy that it is not enough to consider one’s own personal footprint, but also to create opportunities for others to consider theirs. At Skywell, his goal is to inspire others to change their water footprints.
As managing director, Eric oversees financial operations, leasing and operational functions at Skywell. He also played an integral role in the company’s inception as an investor.
Previously, Eric co-founded Kurtzman Carson Consultants (KCC), a technology firm redefining the claims and noticing process with a new approach to Chapter 11 bankruptcy administration. In recognition of its success, Kurtzman and co-founder Jonathan Carson were selected as Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year in 2008. The following year, they successfully sold the company as part of their long-term growth strategy.
Eric began his career as a corporate restructuring attorney, serving as an associate at Pachulski, Stang, Ziehl, Young & Jones PC and as an attorney at Murphy, Weir & Butler PC.
Eric earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law and his Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He graduated as departmental valedictorian from University of California, Berkeley with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Japanese Politics.
