Jonathan is passionate about harnessing the power of business to have a positive impact on the world. At Skywell, his goal is to empower individuals and communities with a socially and environmentally responsible source of drinking water.
As Skywell’s president, he spearheads and oversees the strategic direction for the company’s growth, business development and marketing initiatives. He also plays a leading role in managing the company’s operations and product design.
Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit early in his career, he leveraged his legal expertise to launch Kurtzman Carson Consultants (KCC), a technology firm that redefined Chapter 11 bankruptcy administration. Carson and KCC co-founder, Eric Kurtzman, were recognized as Ernst and Young Entrepreneurs of the Year and successfully sold the company as part of their long-term growth strategy.
Jonathan formerly practiced law as a corporate-restructuring attorney with Kirkland & Ellis. Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
In addition to his role with Skywell, Jonathan serves on a handful of corporate boards and is an active leader in the Los Angeles chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
